Cadillac is not a newcomer to the luxury electric vehicle (EV) world. The first entry into this category was the Lyriq, a compact SUV with a range of 312 miles.
The model is joined by the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the popular Escalade SUV. Priced at approximately $130,000, the new Cadillac is the brand’s first full-size all-electric SUV. It offers the boldness and luxury you’ve come to expect from an Escalade, but with a clean electric powertrain.
The Escalade IQ has a wheelbase of 136.2 inches. The length is 224.3 inches and the width is 85.3 inches. The height of this Cadillac is 76.1 inches.
Cadillac sells this electric car in two trim levels: Luxury and Sport. Luxury trim features brushed aluminum wheels and exterior accents. The metal surfaces of sports equipment are darkened.
Escalade IQ is powered by a 24-module Lithium battery that produces over 200 kWh of energy. Cadillac pairs this battery with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. This setup produces up to 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.
Cadillac estimates the Escalade IQ’s powertrain will allow it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The structure is also sturdy enough to tow up to 8,000 pounds. Official EPA numbers are not yet available, but Cadillac estimates the Escalade can travel 450 miles on a fully charged battery.
This Cadillac regains up to 160 miles of range in 10 minutes with DC fast charging. Level 2 charging restores range to 60 kilometers per hour.
The interior of this Cadillac is open and airy. The interior features high-quality materials and customizable ambient lighting with 126 color options, allowing you to set the mood to suit your needs. Laser etched patterns decorate the wooden panels. The first and second rows are covered by a panoramic glass roof, allowing plenty of natural light into the cabin.
Dashboards are primarily for screen space. Equipped with a driver’s display, a passenger’s display, and a center display with a total area of 55 inches.

Escalade IQ is available with a sound system with up to 40 speakers.
Like the gas-powered Escalade, cargo space in the IQ is plentiful. Space is 23.7 cubic feet with all seats in place and 69.1 cubic feet with the third row folded. With both rear rows folded, you get 119.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity. There’s also a front trunk with 12.2 cubic feet of cargo space.
Standard safety features are plentiful and include blind-spot steering assist, park assist, and a surround-view parking camera system. Additionally, all models come equipped with Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology.
