Nicki Minaj releases a New Song Titled ‘Needle,’ featuring Drake. Nicki Minaj and Drake join forces once again in the latest track, “Needle,” featured on her recent album, Pink Friday 2.
Nicki Minaj made a comeback with “Pink Friday 2” on Friday, featuring a 22-track project. The album includes a fresh collaboration with Drake called “Needle,” where Drake showcases his melodic vocals over a smooth Afrobeat’s instrumental.
“If these diamonds in my head can’t weigh me down/What makes you think that you could weigh me down?/Stop it right now/Friends were pessimistic ’bout our love, heard they tired now/We both know they’re miserable at home, f**k ’em all,” Drake sings.
Following in Drake’s footsteps, Nicki Minaj also showcases her singing skills on the track. “I could stay back, I could take that/Come and lay back, on our way back/Make a movie, watch the playback/Nah, don’t save that, I don’t play that.”
Eminem’s song “Stan” has now exceeded 1 billion streams on Spotify.
Former Young Money collaborators Nicki Minaj and Drake have once again joined forces on the track “Needle,” featured on Nicki’s latest album, Pink Friday 2. The duo, known for their previous collaborations like “Moment 4 Life,” hadn’t teamed up for a few years until the release of “Seeing Green” in 2021, where Lil Wayne also made an appearance.
This track was part of the reissue of Nicki Minaj’s 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty. With a history of successful musical partnerships, their reunion on “Needle” adds another chapter to their collaborative legacy, delighting fans with their combined talents after a brief hiatus.
